TIPS FOR PROTECTING YOUR HANDS, LIPS AND FEET

One of the most disturbing things during winters is the itching sensation on hands and feet, lips that feel parched and dry, and skin that looks dull. Along with your face, don’t forget to take care for your hands, feet and lips this winter. In this blog I’m going to share some important tips on how to take care of your hands, feet and lips.

1.  Tips for protecting your hands during winter.

Just follow these tips and some products recommended by which are my personal experience. I have used these products and believe I’m totally in love with these products.

MOISTURIZE FREQUENTLY

Wear Gloves

Wear warm, water proof gloves when going outside to protct your hands from harsh winds and cold temperatures.

Exfoliate

Gently exfoliate your hands with a sugar or salt scrub to remove dead skin cells. One of my DIY homemade exfoliating mask is powdered white sugar or you can even use brown sugar mix this with 4 to 5 drops of lemon then add 2 to 3 drops of glycerine then mix. Apply this mask on  your hand and exfoliate.

Do scrubbing and apply a good mask which suits your hand once a week. Do your nails and in this way your hands will not get dull or dry.

2.  Tips for protecting your feet during winter.

Keep your feet clean and dry

Wash your feet daily and dry them thoroughly, especially between the toes. If you don’t wash your feet daily it can foot odor. Sweat and bacteria can cause unpleasant food odor. Dirt, sweat, and bacteria can cause itching and irritation.

Moisturize

Apply a rich foot cream or moisturizer to keep your feet hydrated and soft. Neglecting to wash and moisturize feet can lead to dry, cracked skin.

Wear warm socks

Wear warm, breathable socks to keep your feet cozy and dry. Look for a socks with a thick and plush pile to trap warm air. Thermal socks are designed to trap warm air and keep feet cozy. They’re often made from synthetic materials like polyester or nylon.

3. Tips for protecting your lips during winter.

Use a lip balm

Apply a lip balm or a lip scrub frequently to keep your lips hydrated and protected. Some of my recommended lip balms are

Try to avoid licking your lips, as saliva can dry out your lips further.

Stay hydrated

Drink plenty of water to keep your skin, including your lips, hydrated from the inside out.
